ECON 310 Research Methods for Economics
3 cr. Undergraduate/Graduate.
Statistical research methods, especially cross-sectional and panel-data regression and hypothesis testing, applied to the evaluation of empirical data and a directed research project using programming languages (STATA, R, Python, Matlab, etc.)
Prerequisites: junior standing; ECON 210(P) or consent of instructor.
Course Rules: Not open for cr to students who have cr in ECON 513(531).
