Introductory college chemistry. Modern fundamental principles of chemistry, with emphasis on the chemistry of nonmetals.

Prerequisites: Math placement level 30 or higher, or a grade of C or better in MATH 105, MATH 108 or MATH 116; and either a grade of C or better in CHEM 100(P) or score of 1 on the Chemistry Preliminary Placement Tool.

Course Rules: 3 hrs lec, 3 hrs lab, 1 hr dis.
